I will dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
